Return Policy of Stylish Gift Decor

General guidelines:

 

Customers are able to request a return within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of their initial purchase. After this time frame all sales are considered “final”, and are therefore non-refundable and non-returnable.

 

Stylish Gift Decor is willing to exchange items, or provide store credit, only if merchandise is returned and received within this 14 calendar days’ time frame.

 

The term "14 days of purchase" refers to 14 calendar days (i.e. counting both business and weekend days) from the the customer received his/her purchase.

 

Stylish Gift Decor asks that merchandise be returned in its original condition. All returned items must be intact, and received in the same condition as when purchased. 

 

The term ‘Original condition’ denotes that marchandise has not been: worn, used, washed, or altered in any way from its original condition.  In addition, merchandise must be shipped back in the original package that was provided to the customer at the time of purchase.

 

Please note that for any fabric or material products: we are not responsible for shrinking or any other damage as a result of washing your item(s). It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any handling and washing instructions are properly followed prior to cleaning or washing new items.

 

The products should be properly insured when shipped back to Stylish Gift Decor, as the customer assumes full responsibility for the condition of the products during the return transit.

 

Reruns should also include a copy of all paperwork (e.g. invoice and/or packing slip) that was included with your order. Customers should also provide the reason for their return, and include this information with their return package.

 

Return Authorization Code requirement:

 

Prior to returning an item, please contact Stylish Gift Decor for a Return Authorization Code (RAC).  Receiving this code indicates the approval of your return. Before returning your item, please ensure that your purchase is not a “final sale” item, as such products are nonreturnable.

 

When returning your purchase, please clearly write your RAC on the exterior of the box. This will ensure that your return is accepted, and not doing so could cause delays in your exchange.

 

"Final sale" definition:

 

As sales are considered “final sale” after 14 calendar days, and we do not provide refunds or store credits for shipping and handling fees after this period of time. We also do not reimburse fees incurred by “final sale” items.

 

In addition to reduced items on sale, please note that items that have been personalized or engraved are also considered “final sale”. This means that these items are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

 

Personalized or Engraved gifts:

 

Unfortunately, due to the nature of personalized gifts, under no circumstances are we able to refund or exchange personalized or engraved products.

 

Stylish Gift Decor is unable to refund, exchange or return personalized items that feature any personalized or customized embellishments, including but not limited to engravings and monogramming.

 

If you place a personalized order by mistake, please contact us at your earliest convenience.  We may be able to cancel your order if the customization process has not begun.

 

Exchanges:

 

Shipping fees that arise from any exchanges will be billed to the customer who placed the original order, using their pre-approved payment method. This is binding unless otherwise stated.

 

Refunds/store credit time lines:

 

We strive to process customers’ returns, refunds and store credits immediately.  However, please note that any store credit or refund due back to you, the customer, may take up to two weeks to be successfully processed and reflected on your credit card or initial payment method source.

 

As such, please allow two weeks from the date of your return confirmation before contacting us for a status update. A return confirmation will notify customers that their order has been received and is being processed.

 

Cancellations:

 

If you wish to cancel or modify an existing order, please contact us immediately. We understand that mistakes can happen, particularly online, so please call or email us promptly.

By having your specific request and order number readily available, you can facilitate the process of cancelling your item.

 

We at Stylish Gift Decor will do our very best to accommodate your cancellation.  However, please note that cancellations are not applicable to shipped orders or items that have already been customized/personalized.

 

If a product is in transit, then we will not be able to cancel it. In this instance, it becomes the responsibility of the customer to return the items back to Stylish Gift Decor.  We would then treat this situation as a return, and the aforementioned return and exchange guidelines would then be applicable.

 

Return shipping fees:

 

Please note that exchanged items, alongside purchases made with store credit, are not eligible for free shipping. This means that customers who wish to purchase a product using store credit or through an exchange, will be liable to pay any and all shipping costs incurred as a result of delivering the new item(s).

 

Stylish Gift Decor would like to remind customers that any orders returned without an approved RAC code will be rejected.

 

Any items returned beyond the 14 calendar days deadline, or in any condition aside from the original one provided at the time of delivery will also be rejected. The customer will also be charged for any expenses incurred by us, as we ship the unauthorized return back to you.

This Return Policy is subject to change at any time without notice.

 

Stylish Gift Decor is unable to accept responsibility for items in transit to our store.  Customers assume responsibility for the condition of their items at the time of return.  This means that customers should take every precaution to ensure that their products are well protected and/or insured for damage or theft during transit back to our store.

 

Stylish Gift Decor reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange. Returns are reviewed on a case by case basis, and are only approved when a Return Authorization Code has been issued. If the customer does not receive a RAC, then this would mean that the return was not approved.
